I have no doubt that the mood and atmosphere around schools this week has lifted in anticipation of a break from routine and what has been a very challenging Term Two in schools-actually a very challenging two and a half years! Staff, students and parents will undoubtedly have more of a skip in their steps as they head out of the gates for the July holidays.

Education has become a very competitive industry to operate in, particularly in the independent sector. Traditionally a very slow industry to respond and adapt to the changing demands in the marketplace, schools are now under more pressure to establish and sustain their competitive edge, as parents and their children shop around to research what is on offer and how that will meet their expectations.

Dealing with Parent Grievances
Every parent wants the best for their little one attending daycare and it can be a stressful time getting used to leaving their precious baby in the care of others. For that reason the centre can receive many concerns and complaints each day which means, at times, the Centre Manager and Educators have to deal with some difficult parents and situations.

#BreakTheBias – International Women’s Day 2022
The women that work at Class Professionals make up 80% of the team – our ages range from 30 to 60+, and we are all very very different people, from different backgrounds, different countries and all with different hobbies, family lifestyles and view-points. The thing that bonds us all together in work is that we are a team, we are women who look out for one another, care about each other and want to make each other shine, we are also very fortunate that the remaining 20% of the organisation (the men of the team), are wholly supportive and encouraging of each individual and their own needs to make work ‘work’ for them.
